A Doctoral Graduate of East Texas State University, Dr. Connell has a strong professional track in the field of human behavior. With significant critical recognition in her field her core areas of endeavor and inquiry have dealt with violent criminal behavior, violent risk assessment, personnel selection with the emphasis on law enforcement, domestic violence and child custody. She is significantly involved in her field professionally and is a frequent presenter at national conferences and seminars. Dr. Connell has been engaged over the years to advise protective staff as to the presence of hostile/violent behavioral traits and indices on behalf of protectees. Her input has been invaluable in assisting in the development of threat mitigation and intervention strategies in extreme circumstances, as well as assisting organizations and families in processing through these events. She serves in an advisory role to Resource Group Ltd.
